| PERKINS
Perkins is recognised as a world leader in the design and
manufacture of industrial diesel engines throughout the
world. People have come to trust Perkins power. We are proud
of that trust, and are passionate in pursuit of the engine
excellence that has always inspired it.
Today a large part of that trust is founded not only upon
well-engineered reliable products, but also on the piece
of mind provided by the huge global family of distributors
and dealers backing them with parts and service.
For nearly 70 years Perkins has led the field
in the design and manufacture of high-performance engines.
Our continuous development programme, dedicated to furthering
engine design, allows us to offer one of the most advanced
and comprehensive ranges of purpose-built diesel and gas
engines available today.
Ranging from 5 to over 2,600 hp, the engines power more
than 5,000 different applications from over 1,000 major
equipment manufacturers in the construction, power generation,
materials handling, agricultural and general industrial
markets.

400
Series - compact power has evolved
Whether for construction machinery, material handling,
agricultural, turf, or general industrial equipment,
400 Series offers the ideal solution. Covering a power
band of 10 - 44.7kW (13 - 60hp), of two, three and four
cylinder, naturally aspirated and turbocharged engines,
it is the engine of choice for compact equipment.
The benefits of improved productivity from increased
power and torque, increased refinement from lower
noise and harshness, and lower cost of ownership from
500 hours service intervals and 2 year warranty have
